Shelter to the Wettstein pass.

The 5th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 22nd, 27th, 28th, 30th, 52nd, 70th, 106th, 114th, 115th, 120th, 121st hunter battalions and the 359th and 297th regiments of infantry fought gloriously in the massif of Le Linge.

1 Monument at the pass of Le Linge to the memory of the dead persons of the 5th BCP and, in particular, to the Major Barberot, killed here on August 4th 1915. As most monuments of the world war, it had to be destroyed by the occupying power at the time of World War II. It will be happily saved, thanks to the action of some patriotic people.
To be noted the incredible proximity of the firsts ligns French and German one, far between only ten meters, sometimes less. 1
